Turkey is known for its diverse lifestyle and historical significance. It stands as the cultural and dynamic bridge connecting Europe and Asia, making it a distinctive choice for living.

Turkey’s capital city, Ankara is a top tourist destination famous for its breathtaking sunset views. The official language of the country is Turkish although English is widely spoken.

Turkey’s Citizenship by Investment program commenced in 2017 with the objective to allow investors and families to gain citizenship rights in the country.

The Turkish passport promises an opportunistic future to individuals with high returns on investment, global mobility, a premium lifestyle, and much more.

What the visa-free access means in practice

The list is strongest across Latin America, the Balkans and Eastern Europe, Central and Southeast Asia, and the Gulf, with Japan, Brazil, Argentina and Indonesia among the standout entries. That suits business trips, property viewings and holidays on one passport.

It does not include the Schengen Area or the United Kingdom, and it does not give you the right to live or work in any listed country. Longer stays require a residence permit from the country concerned.

Why the visa-free list matters for citizenship by investment

Türkiye is one of the established citizenship by investment options, with Türkiye citizenship starting from $400,000. Investors typically weigh:

  • Visa-free access to 110+ destinations, including Japan, Brazil, Argentina and Singapore
  • A passport ranked 49th in global rankings in 2026
  • A second passport as a backup for business and family travel
  • Reach across Latin America, Eastern Europe, Asia, the Gulf and Africa
