What visa-free Schengen access means
Schengen access is the main draw for many applicants. With one passport you can move between 29 European countries for short stays, which suits business trips, property viewings and holidays. The United Kingdom is open with an eTA, which you apply for online before you travel.
It does not give you the right to live or work in Europe. Longer stays require a residence permit from the country concerned.
