Latest Updates in St. Kitts & Nevis Citizenship by Investment Program

The St. Kitts and Nevis Citizenship by Investment Unit (CIU) has issued a memorandum announcing new changes to its Citizenship by Investment program effective immediately.

The updates from St. Kitts and Nevis follow the decision of the OECS territories earlier this month to standardize and strengthen the Caribbean Programs.  

St. Kitts and Nevis CIU has introduced a significant price decrease in the minimum contribution amount for the Sustainable Island State Contribution (SISC) option.

This noteworthy price change was taken to ensure uniform investment structures among the Caribbean Citizenship by Investment Programs.  

Applicants can save up to US $100,000 with the current investment threshold compared to the previous amount of US$350,000. 

The new changes in the Investment Amounts are as follows: 

Sustainable Island State Contribution

• US$250,000 for a single applicant or a family of up to four members (previously US $250,000 for a single applicant and US $350,000 for a family of 4)
• US$25,000 for each additional dependent under 18 years of age (previously US $50,000) 
• US$50,000 for each additional dependent aged 18 or older (previously US $75,000) 

Real Estate Investment 

Note. Real Estate Investment amounts remain unchanged.

1. The Developer’s Real Estate Investment  : The minimum investment amount in an Approved Development remains at US $400,000. (resaleable after 7 years)

2.The Private Real Estate Investment : The Minimum investments in Approved Private Real Estate are:

             – US$400,000 – for a condominium unit or share in a real estate development (resalable after 7 years).

             – US$800,000 – for a single-family private dwelling home (resalable after 7 years).

3.The Public Benefit Option :The Minimum investment in a unit of an Approved Public Benefit Project remains at US$250,000.
